TP at my house is mullet style, and yes due to pets. But I don't care as long as it is available.

My very petty pet peeve on this forum is the misuse of the trendy term "upcycle." Upcycling is when you turn a worn out tire into a Gucci handbag. It is NOT when you turn a perfectly good dresser (or other item) into a chicken coop! THAT is recycling, NOT upcycling! Which is good and we all do it, but don't try to be all trendy when it is actually a step down for that item to be made into a chicken coop.

Now making a chicken coop out of old pallets or other junk may actually qualify as an upcycle. The term still irks me. Recycle is better IMO.

I've never heard the term upcycle. Guess that speaks for how trendy my world is. And I ain't ever mad about.
I don't like recycle though. That doesn't sound like the right word either.
Repurpose sounds more fitting but that's kind of fancy talk too. I'd usually just say I used some scrap junk to make some useful junk.

I use the term re-purpose, too.
