Pet Peeves

Yeah, I like a creamy coffee. REAL cream I should say. None of that fake stuff :sick
I have always loved milk. When I was coming up I drank about 3-4 gallons a week and I still drink a lot, but not that much. Maybe that is why I like my coffee that way. I really prefer milk instead of creamer in my coffee. And, I have to admit that I do not know the exact difference between milk and creamer.

You sound like my husband. He can go through 2 gallons in a week easy.. 2% that is. I can go through 1/2 gallon (whole milk) in a month. Creamer.. is a sweetened/flavored half and half, half and half is just what is sounds like (also can be called creamer, lol), milk.. there is fat free, 1%, 2% and whole. For me.. whole is the best because the other stuff tastes like white water, lol.

I do not mean to turn this into a milk thread 😆but I have been doing the 2% and even the 1% if it is available for awhile now just to try to keep it healthy as possible. The same reason I do half and half on tea. I was the same way when I first got off the whole milk. What I found out for me is that is just what I get used to. So, now if I drink whole milk it is almost just too much.

Lol, it doesn't matter.

I'm not on the whole "fat is bad for you" train. I would rather eat things in as close to their natural state as possible rather than some kind of watered-down version. More nutrient dense, that way.
I can not in no way whatsoever in 5 lifetimes do buttermilk though. If I wanted that I would just leave a gallon of milk out of the fridge a couple of days! It seems like the same thing 🤮
Raw and fresh buttermilk doesn't taste the same as the stuff from the store. It has a slightly different flavor but it doesn't taste all weird and sour.
