I used to take my little scissor beaked ameraurana hen everywhere with me. When we went into Petco, people first thought she was a hawk. She used to sit on my shoulder. We got a lot of attention. It is amazing how many people have never been up close and personal with a chicken before.
Many people were afraid of her. Do to her scissor beak, she weighed just a little over 1 lb. So she was very small.
I let people touch her and they were amazed at how soft whe was.

My DH gave our chicks about 100 crickets last week and it was a cricket massacre as well. They weren't sure at first, they're almost 6 weeks old. But once one went after one it was over in a matter of seconds. Not a single cricket survived.

I want to take one to PetSmart now too! Oh it'd be fun...

well, i did it today! i got petco crickets and let the girls go wild lol at first they were like "wth are those things?!?!" but then the massacre began lol and i took a vid for u guys since it was ur idea lol
