Oofta im drooling over the Stuffed Bakers already!!

Hey my teeny tiny mother ordered one of them taters and after an hour of eating she took it home with her and ate two more times. It was great though cause I don't think I have ever seen that look on my mom's face before when that lady sat that one little tater down in front of her.

We will be flying both ways. It is way to late in the season to bring up any equine from the lower 48. We have had a pretty warm start to winter but that will change in no time. I will be shocked if we dont see -40 this month. So he will have to wait untill the spring.

Its sorta a mad dash trip trying to fit everything in without the hubby having to take leave. Plus find tickets bla bla bla we are both excited. Our trainer is even flying down from Oregon to come check him out with us and its her birthday. I need to get off my booty and make some what of a time plan for everything.

I know the hubby is uber excited to meet this guy. I just hope it all goes well... talk about a total bummer if we go all that way and the mule dont like him. Although I have never met any animal who doesnt like him. He even won over my mare who pretty much dislikes everything except maybe air on a good day.

If you have time to go around the state, you should see something cool or tourist-y. Like Tombstone or Karchner caverns. If it is just Phoenix, Phantom of the Opera is playing....

Im not to sure how far we will go for out and about. Im hoping that we get a good bit of time with the new boy.

But I wouldnt mind hitting up any tack stores

But hey who can ever have enough tack right?

Besides there is only one within 250 miles of me.

You know I got to thinking about what a poultry/livestock person might want to see if they came to Arizona and who wouldn't want to go here http://www.roostercogburn.com/ I saw a thing on TV about it and the lady said that if you go fishing for them and you catch and reel one in you get to keep it!

So does anyone know of good tack stores or auctions? I know in the hubbys home town there is a tack auction every other weekend or so. If not what stores do yall like?

Also I have been looking to add another Great Pyr to the family as ours are gettin up there. Does anyone know of any who have some down that way?

Thanks for all your replys Im getting more and more excited I think its been almost three years since Ive been to the lower 48.

Find my post about feed stores on the Arizona Chickens thread. I have phone numbers and addresses on it.

Almost to the bottom of this page... https://www.backyardchickens.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=31227&p=27

The
Stock Shop at 65th and Thunderbird, Western Ranchman at 32nd Street just north of Greenway and the tiny feed store in Tempe all have some good stuff.
