I think we found your mystery roo there...



Oh man! I would have never guessed! I just couldn't get past those yolks. This is accidental roo #2 for us. And unfortunately both have been my youngest's pets. Hope she takes this well, but as long as he stays quiet...wait a minute, they never do, do they? :p

If that is a roo then I might have a roo too. That might be why I do not have any colored eggs. That might be why my eggs are fertile still. We get rid of all the big roosters 5 weeks ago and the eggs still look fertile. My young roster is only 3 months old.

My Blacky won a champion ribbon in the fair for young hen but hasn't laid an egg yet. She/he is a little over 6 months and no eggs but none of the other Aneraucanas are laying yet.
 
That sure looks like a hen to me, and those eggs look fertile to me.  Hummm, don't get rid if the EE just yet.  Can you separate that one from the others for awhile?


As long as the EE stays friendly and doesn't bother the neighbors it has a home! ;)

I wish I had the space! I only have one coop as of yet.
