Ok! Please share how it goes! My main thoughts is if it'll change the size, or the pixels. (I don't use a anymore Nikon, so I'm not too familiar with them.)

I prefer the RAW setting and you do your own developing rather than letting the camera do it.

This camera doesn't have that option. Even if it did, I wouldn't know where to start.

It may not be called RAW but you should have an option to save the undeveloped files. For Nikon it is called NEF. You are in the section that defines which size you save your jpegs as. The NEF option will be found in the section where you choose it or jpeg or both.
