Like this?Crop it. Tightly. The wire is a major distraction and the closer you get in on her face the more detail will emerge.

Yes. You might even go vertical with this one and slice off more of the left. Depends on if it helps or not. You definitely see more detail even in this crop.Like this? View attachment 3162841
This one's just not great composition unfortunately. You need more of her or less of her and less background. Her neck arch makes her look deformed and all that buff in the corner unbalances the shot. Try cropping it so that you' slice off the top and right hand sides, pulling her more up and right in the shot. I'm not sure that's the answer but I think it'll help. The right answer is frame her up a bit more in future shots so you have more of her to work with.View attachment 3162843
Completely unedited shot. Another cute pullet. Suggestions? I think I need to crop so her face isn’t in the center.
I think that one is pretty good..View attachment 3162819
What would y’all do with this? I don’t remembering editing it at all, but it’s another one from a few years ago. It’s the same pullet as this photo: View attachment 3162810

That’s good. I don’t like what it did to her eye however. I’ll play around with it and see what I can do without lightening the whole image.I think that one is pretty good..
I played around with it just for fun, I'm very new to editing so it's not great but this is what I did to it

Well, she’s dead now, so…The right answer is frame her up a bit more in future shots so you have more of her to work with.
She manages to look deformed here too.Good to know.

Yeah, when she was young she had quite the neck. It was hard to photograph her. Let me find some of the other ones. Her lanky-ness really showed.
"I am thumbelina! Bawk Bawk!"She manages to look deformed here too. View attachment 3162875
