I know she’s looking through the wire, but her face is in focus - and the detail is captured very well, right down to her chipped beak. I think it makes quite the interesting shot, though it wouldn’t win any contests. How can I improve it?

Compositionally the bottom one is better but you missed the focus point slightly. Should be her eye instead of her nostril.I can't believe I didn't find this earlier...

This one looks a little over-exposed , and I don't like that most of her body is cut off.
