It shows the length of the beak; and a beautiful round eye. Also shows more toe; the angle on a whole is the best of the three, with the lines of the wood.

Agreed. If it was mine, I would increase the contrast a little.

The middle one. With her head to the side, she looks more like she's striking a pose. Plus the layout of the overall picture is better. In the first picture, you can see the edge of the table in the bottom right corner, so that takes away from the quality of the picture.
