Hey Folks,

Is there anybody that like photography out there?
Trust me, I am not a professional photographer... But I sure do love it!

Here are my favorite photos I have taken throughout the year.
Please tell me which one you like the best and why.

I will start out with my oldest photos, since they were from this year...
Wouldn't call them old, I just wanted to say what I'll start out with.

Please ask questions, whether the questions are about the breeds or names!

Thank you for viewing! More will come.

Sincerely Your Friend,
The Angry Hen

I like 'em all! The finch especially ... good photos of chickens are hard enough, let alone a finch :)
Hello,

How have you been? Thank you! Yes, I spent many hours outside waiting for it to sit there! Ha ha. Thanks again, I am glad you liked 'em! :)

LOVE the collie. I have a smooth coat collie named Beau. Tell me if I'm right: First hen is an Austalorp, second is a salmon Faverolle, third Buff Orpington, fourth RIR, 5th and sixth are EE hens, seventh is Andalusian, don't know eighth, ninth is obviously a finch, tenth a collie, and eleventh RIR. Am i right? Beautiful pictures!

I'd have to say that this one is probably the best of the selection given.

The others have less than ideal positions or blending background colours. This one compliments the subject and the simplicity of it helps make up for the lack of a sharp focus. Wild birds aren't easy to photograph, so this is a good shot.

Hello There,

He's a Shetland Sheepdog! :D I love them!

The first is a Blue Cochin, second Faverolle, third Orpington, fourth New Hampshire, fifth and sixth Brahma's, seventh Blue Cochin, eighth Blue Cochin, ninth is a mix between Brahma / Delaware / Dorking! And the finch is a chick-a-dee!

You have such great guesses though, now that I look at 'em they do look like your guesses!!! Thank you! I am glad you like the photos!

I used to be a professional photographer, of course it wasn't chickens. However I'm prey certain toddlers and small children can be just as difficult to capture!

I also like the finch the best. And I agree with @BantyChooks. I will add, change your focal angle as well. Your photographs have real potential. And the simple things like keeping backgrounds clutter free and getting down to the subject's level will make simple but vastly different and better images.

Just curious, what are you using for your camera and lenses?

Absolutely. Didn't wish to overwhelm her with points to consider or I'd have noted that too.
