We got her when she was 3 days old. We called her Madame Peck Peck, because she pecked at everything (except her sisters) she when she grew up, she became our first head hen! She never hurt anyone and is our lightest bird. Soon after, she was kicked out of office by Vicky, but she always was nice to tiny who is bottom of the pecking order. Tiny likes everyone except for Tillie at bedtime and my boots.🤣 Now, Madame is like the flock overseer. She loves to be held. The only problem she had was when she ate a lot of dirt and we took her to the vet and got her crop flushed out. That was great🙄. We kept her in a baby thing for a week.🤣
She sounds like a real nice hen! I bet she didn't have fun going to the vet!

I don't mind keeping them all but it's a housing issue. I have 3 different pens and they are segregated by age. In their pen which is our young birds there's 6 or 7 roosters.
Oh I’m sorry to hear that. Maybe another coop? I used a shed for my girls.
