pickled quail eggs

just curious - has anyone tried throwing in some peppers, with pickled quail eggs? if so, did you have to change up the recipe any, other than tossing in the peppers and letting sit for a couple of weeks?

Toss them in. You shouldn't have to change your recipe. I sell more pickled eggs than I do fresh eggs. Probably 20 gallons a year. I put peppers in pretty much all of them except a few where the customer wanted them without. The longer you let them sit, the hotter they get.
