This is my Nera! I was supposed to euthanize her because she wasn't wanted anymore at only two weeks old. So I took her home with me!

She is now 4 months old. I love her. She is so good with my son and all of the neighborhood kids. I really want to get her another female silkie friend.

Splash cockeral, Freebie.

Freebie got his name from what happened after Percy's death. After Percy died, the breeder replaced him with one free silkie chick, Freebie, the Splash silkie cockeral. He is named freebie because I got him free and bought two others. Buzzcut Jr. didn't make it.




Blue Partridge silkie pullet, unnamed. Name suggestions welcome.

This lil girl is Freebie's sister. She costed me $12.00, and was worth every penny!


She wouldn't sit anywhere else to get her photo taken. So, she has a sunbeam behind her.
