As long as they're fresh eggs you wouldn't need to do the float test.

If I have an egg with a blood streak I dampen a paper towel with hot water and wipe it off. If an egg needs more than a wipe off I don't sell them anyway. Those stay with me.
 
ok well then i guess i wont be float testing my eggs anymore? and i dont sell my eggs either if i cant get the poo off very easily.
 
When you expose a fresh egg to water, the more likely it is you'll introduce bacteria to it. The only reason to do the float test is to test for an old egg. If you're gathering and selling your eggs in a timely manner that shouldn't ever be an issue.
 
i gather the eggs the second they are layed. no costumer has gotten sick or found a bad egg that i know of yet.. and if they do go in the water it is only for a second.
