So excited D my Ko shamo started sitting on 7 eggs then 9 the day my lovely cockerel Daphnie died. I've got 10-11 days to go! I must say I've been looking on Youtube candling each day Its amazing
(I know a little ott)! Can't wait! x

Cool how ironic are birds to know when they will need to sit......
any problems where you are with heating them in the winter?

Not long now! Shes such a good hen could only see 8 eggs when she came out for food and a stretch. I'm going to get an heat lamp just in case weather gets too cold its not been to bad so far.

They wont be pure Ko Shamo the cockerel is a very stunning Dutch Bantam. I'll try and get a pic of him.

What temperature do I need to worry about while D is sat on eggs? I don't want to move her again as she was a bugger to move in the first place! It's 8 degrees/ 46.4 fahrenheit

Think I've made myself confused with due date as I counted it again and came up with today as the due date not the 18th

. D came off the eggs for her feed had a look in and no sign of anything yet. I'm so excited in going mad lol
