picture journey of my goose egg incubation AWESOME! ALL PICS IN FIRST POST! Easy to see!

The one that is dark may be backwards and you may need to make an air hole and help it out . I would wait to help it out after the others hatch.

Which one? Mine with the bad air cell? I'm going to let that one be for a while. I'm kind of curious how this one is going to hatch. When I candled last night before lockdown, his beak was in the air cell and peeping (I don't go into lockdown till they internally pipped) I'm really shocked he made it this far with the air cell taking up most of the egg. I never seen anything like it. I usually hatch my own or my neighboring farm's goslings, so this is my first time with shipped goose eggs.

I have had this happen twice this year and it looks like the egg is bad with such a small air cell. I have had them get out of the small end before and some that just pip and I have to help out.

This one doesn't have a small air cell. I had the opposite problem. Air cell ruptured and was too large from the beginning. It took up 3/4 of the egg. But he has now pipped

All four are now externally pipped

When I get close to the incubator and talk to them, they all peep like crazy back to me. It's pretty funny! Love hatching geese!

OMG!!!! WAY TO CUTE! I really hope I am as lucky. I am worried about my air cells being large enough. I was worried that my humidity was to low at first now I am worried the they didnt lose enough weight...uggg it never ends! I just hope to get a few to hatch. I will be candleing often now to wait for internal pipping. Thanks so much for posting your pic! JEN

OK today is day 27!~ All eggs are still alive with visibal movement. 2 of the 6 eggs have internally pipped at 6:30 am. Egg #4 has finally had the dip down of the air cell so that one is a day behind the others. I saw the other 3 eggs trying to pierce the internal membrane so they should be internally pipped soon. I have not upped my humidity yet. I am waitig for the first external pip like it said to do on the incubation chart! I will candle again at 10 am before I leave for work then again at 5 pm when I get home. I will keep you updated. Things should get exciteing now! I PRAY I dont screw this up and I get them to hatch. WISH ME LUCK!
