She's not a breed, she's a mix of breeds. Araucana is definitely in the mix as her eggs are blue. I was told she has Australorp, Pekin and Silkie in the mix too, but I don't entirely trust the person who told me because she also said the pullets were older than they really were. I think she was very sketchy on the details.

Oh, okay. Whatever breeds, she's beautiful!

I think so too they all are and the backyard is far more beautiful with the hens than without them.

Nug Nug
This a miracle chick. When her mother died at nine months old, only having laid 4 eggs before she died, I was devastated. I felt like I needed to carry her on. So I stuck those four eggs in the incubator. All had been in the fridge. 2 chicks hatched. Their names are Downy and Nug Nug.
