Look, you're in the US & I'm in Australia. Your bird doesn't look anything like an Aussie Australorp, a breed we developed. It's been noted before around these threads that some breeds in America don't much resemble their breed in other countries. French Marans is one. Australorps is another. I don't know anything about genetics. I just know she doesn't look like any Australorp I've ever kept. As I don't wish to be embroiled in an ongoing argument or derail this thread further, that's my final word on the matter.
