Picture Of The Week (POW) Information & Submissions

Part of roosters' charms are their vast, and often comical, egos. Tell him, and give him a reward!

I can't deny that! Although trust me, you can't get a bigger ego than Kolovos🤣. He (and the girls) were supposed to raise his son to be respectful. His foster mom started him off really well, but with his father being on cloud 9 after getting the POW, don't know how well that's going to go

I like how you're a bantam convert. Yes, we love all chickens but bantams are super special - sweet, friendly, comical, etc. All bantam breeds are sweeties. Our reason for Silkies is because they can't fly over a wall. In the suburbs of a city we don't want to lose a flying escapee so these mini-clowns solved the issue:

Oh absolutely! Bantams are AMAZING! Your birds are soooooo pretty! For a very short period of time I had silkies as well. Now I just have one silkie mix. I absolutely get what you're saying about rainy days. The silkie mix gets more wet than the dogs. She has spent some nights in the apothecary...the seems strangely drawn to any water source
