@Antiocheggers -- Your camera shots are pretty. Love your pics.
Your Marianne & Rose love to be held. Who knew chickens could be so cuddly?
Besides our old Dominique "Dana" that loves to be held, we once had a deformed Silkie chick "Amber" that we kept in-house till she passed. Amber wandered in kitchen and office freely but then she'd pull on our pant leg or socks when she wanted to be picked up. At first we thought she was doing the chicken thing begging for food, but no, she just wanted to be held.
Amber wanted to be with me at the computer and took naps there. She nudged her way under my hand to nap. If we left the house she cried if we didn't take her in the car with us. I guess we were her "flock." I wasn't expecting to have a house chicken but that's what we would've committed to had she lived longer than a few weeks

That's supper adorable. I'm sure those 2 would rather be with me 24/7. But our Great danes said the house is their, the coop is for chickens. I spend alot time with them in the coop and our walks. And your right I had no idea that chickens were so loving and like to cuddle. I love them, my husband not so much. He's loss@Antiocheggers -- Your camera shots are pretty. Love your pics.

Aww that's is adorable@kittyvamp1884
Our chick-er-doodles (Dominiques) loved the warm laptop keyboard also. We taped saran wrap over the laptop keyboard to keep it clean from dander or poop. They did a lot of comfort snoozing on it and it was a great bonding experience to have them near me while I worked. These Dom chicks were our most human-friendly, outgoing, unafraid breed of all:
