Howie - Wowie!!! Isn't it sweet when they come by at roost time? Currently our 3 adult hens come to the back door at roost time for their last little treat. Our alpha Dominique hen waits for DH to walk her to the coop lockup every evening. She watches him to make sure he's still walking with her.

@NevadaEmma -- You have Sebastopols! I'm so jealous! Our yard is way too small for geese which I always wanted. My folks had Talouse on their farm back in the 1950's.

Our 3 new Silkie chicks exploring the big kitchen floor -- we set out friendly chopped spinach and sprinkled loose millet on the floor to relax them. Food is such a good incentive for explorations.

Black Silkie, Blue Silkie, Moorhead Partridge Silkie (rear) -- these 3 Musketeers don't like to wander far from each other.

Chicks grow so-o-o-o fast! This was the box of 3 Silkie chicks we brought home on Jan 16 -- Silkie chick pile-up!
