I am so tickled with the 5 batches of eggs I have purchased this last month. I do have 2 orders of D'Uccles coming soon. I am excited for my granddaughter. She adores them. She adores all of them. She gives them all names and forgets by the next day so she renames them. I just shake my head and smile.

I hope you have great luck with your babies too!!!

I have fluff envy!!!
How come everyone's chicks look so fluffy??? Mine don't seem to get fluffy like that. Do you fluff them with a fluffer???

I've got 44 chicken eggs and 13 quail in the bator due January 1 (NYD hatch).

Me too. Please share when done. Right now I have 13 babies in the tub, but I am in the process of building a round brooder in the garage. No way I can have 50-60 baby chicks in my spare bath tub for 6 weeks

I have to build another for the seramas and anoter one with individual runs and coops for the silkies to keep all the colors serperate. Less yard to mow for me

But hen I have to stop before I lose a husband

Put more eggs in lock down today, but sadly had to dispose of 5 that never hatched for whatever reason. I always give them a few extra days but with no luck. So I cleaned the bator, heated it up and put the new ones in. More silkies......

Oh I almost forgot, I made ANOTHER trade for more silkie/sizzle eggs. Should be here by Saturday. I hope to have 30+ living silkies by March.
