Okay here is the first little sweetie. They were from Emvickery and all American Chick . So they are either silkies or seramas. My vote is seramas. They are tiny too be silkies and do not have the head shape of a silkie. As you can see the first chick was barely larger than a quarter.

I put the RIR and Silkie chicks in there to show you how tiny the new ones are. The first pic was the one my hubbie too. Barely larger than a quarter.
The RIR and silkies are 8 days old now.

I know I am so tickled. Hope a few more hatch tonight. I put 8 in lock down this morning and 32 in lock down a few minutes ago. Gonna keep my fingers off the bators and just pray and pray and pray. Still have more ........ waiting for lock down..... Please pray with me. Merry Christmas everyone.

Pauletta, We are rooting for your babies! Last time I checked I had six of my Christmas chicks hatched already! Most of the eggs in there are shipped so I am really hoping they make it. Hatch on, Girlfirend!

Ohhh you too! Hatching chickens is a wonderful thing. I prefer to hatch eggs than buy adult chickens anyday. Though I am desperate for an adult roo MF OEGB and adult hen MF D'Uccle. So hard to find someone that will sell them. So babies it is. Right now I have those two are just hanging out together to keep each other company. Such cuties..... Good luck on your hatch. What kind did you have hatch? Merry Christmas. PS I am bidding on one of your auctions!!!!! Again hehehehehe You have great chickens girl!

AND Fogelly (BYCer) let me borrow a huge horse water trough thingy with a fence lid for all my chickies due to hatch the 26th!!
