Thank you featherland. They are super clean chickens, but one of them, Dixie, currently has a poopy rump. I need to get her in the house for a bath, but I'm not sure how she will take that!. I've never had to do it before.

Yay! I'm so happy you read it all. And you are correct, my Madeline is totally gaga for the girls. It's funny, because she lost a tooth 2 days ago. She wrote a letter to the tooth Fairy and told the tooth fairy to check on the chickens in the coop. She is always thinking of her chickens!

Thanks Rebekah. My girls STILL come running when I call to them. They are so fun. If what you say about spoiled chickens is true, I will have to totally agree. Between my 3 girls, I have been consistently getting 2 eggs a day from them all through winter and once in a while, I get 3. Two of my girls are molting right now and they are STILL giving me eggs, so it must be true!
