I thought I was the only person thinking of Halloween.
My son wants to be a cow...so he can say "Moo." as he puts it. He just turned 3 and is very set on this, so I am in the process of locating the hooded sweatshirt and pants for him. I wanted to start early because sometimes the sweats sell out of the colors you need before school starts.
I googled homemade costumes and found some really helpful sites for ideas. Some neat ones were there. My favorite was take a green sweat outfit, tack on silk flowers, put on a dunce cap, and call yourself a blooming idiot.
I think Harry Potter will be the thing this year with the movie out now.
On another note, can anyone tell me a good website for toddler hoodies in various colors. He wants to be a tanish brown cow with dark brown spots, to be difficult I guess.
My son has copper hair so last halloween we dressed him up in one of those tubes they use to pour concrete in to make pillars. It was all black with + DURACELL - on the sides. With his hair he looked just like a duracell battery standing on end...He's going to hate me when he grows up
