That's good! :D
How old are your pullets? Some of my hens just became full grown hens after being pullets. They are a little over a year old.

Actually I am not exactly sure how old they are and I wish I knew. the gentleman I bought them from was elderly and didn't talk very much and also had a strong pa dutch accent so he was a little hard to understand. Being new at this there is SO much to learn and take in, but next time I will know all the questions to ask. I wasn't even sure what kind of hen my one chicken was though I figured it out thru pictures and research lol. I found out she is a australorp. I also have 2 buff orpingtons, and 1 golden laced wyandotte-so far the wyandotte is the friendliest although all 4 girls seem to be getting friendlier every day

They are all so beautiful though, I never in my life thought I would ever say that about chickens but I guess I never really looked at them either until a few months ago until my friend/neighbor decided we wanted to get them. Is there a way I can tell exactly how old they are?? I read the buffs are supposed to lay large eggs and right now I would say their eggs are small to medium. Out of the 4 I am getting about 3 eggs a day. One of my girls has been laying me double yolk eggs lol I haven't figured out who yet

Wow! That's so cool how you give your chickens haircuts (feather cuts!)
Do you cut only your silkies feathers or the others? I've trimmed one of my chickens tails when I was little and I didn't do a good job...
