I have a silly questions, besides be absolutely adorable what are the raised for?

I have kings, japanese, californias and bobwhites. I LOVE all of them!
I'll start with my king quails as I have those pictures. I'll add my others later.

Big broody mama.

All grown up, still love mum (mum: silver, left).

Dust bathing.

Darth Vader.

Silver male is one of the chicks from above, now with his girlfriend, Rose.

Eggs hatching.

Pinga, my tame hand raised king (also my avatar).

Teen Pinga.

Pinga all grown up.

Next two are Pinga's sisters.

That's all my kings I have at the moment. Some of them I don't have any more (they've passed away). I have 12 in total, 3 breeding pairs, 2 cages of three females. Hope you like them!

The main reason being because they're absolutely adorable!

Other less common purposes are meat and eggs

Pretty much the same reasons for keeping chickens but on a smaller scale.

Mine are just pets though, occasionally I hatch.

I raise mine just as pets. I leave their eggs with them to hatch to encourage broodiness in quails since broodiness is becoming a rarer trait in quails (particularly japs).

Thats what I was kinda thinking, but I know people do eat them right? I was thinking adorable pets. Are they friendly, like attention?

I think they are just about as adorable as my silkies! Can they be in a mixed flock?
