Seen a javelina type pig (not in the US) eat a chicken. The pigs in this particular area are 'tame' in that they get a few food scraps once or twice a week. So they hang around the rural villages, and dig up everything with their snouts.
The chickens love that! They follow along after the pig, finding worms, bugs, whatever that the pig has turned over. Once a chicken got a little bolder, and walked right up to the pigs head to see what there was to eat....
I've never seen a pig move so fast! His head turned to the right, mouth opened, and there was a single squawk and a puff of feathers! Wow!
