Rest in Peace 1953-2021
I have pics from almost everyday...but just skipping ahead to day 21, this - girl?- has weaned herslef already! Eating and drinking on her own, even the bigger seeds and thawed peas for greens.Hygiene always a good move. In nature pigeons have a flat surface at best with some twigs and feathers they bring in. Wind dries the gumdrops faster than in your coop safe from drafts.
Your babies are growing like weeds. Probably faster,
Take a pix every day and at one month view as a slide show. Its AMAZING.

She-#833- started eating as soon as she came out of the bowl. I had kept a dish of seeds in the nest box for the parents, .... maybe an example of observational learning. I have a drinker and grit for them in there too.
