Pigeon Bulletin Board?

I think I've heard of hens not being able to fly bc of calcium depletion.
Well I checked the level in my calcium feeder and it is EMPTY outside of some powder and a bit inside the feeder that did not gravitate from the silo portion into the tray. If calcium is the cause of my birds trouble the empty feeder did not help the problem.

Not yet. I'm hoping, but not convinced it will.
:(
Still gonna hope he does for ya.:fl

I feed crushed egg shells back to my chickens for the calcium plus they free range 5 acres and wherever else they wanna go on this side of the mountain so calcium hasnt been an issue for them.... My question is, when I do get pigeons, can I feed the chicken egg shells to them as well or will I need to give something else?

x2 for the return! And I think yes on the chicken egg shells. I would let them dry and crush them up.

I always dry them and then crush them into a powder and sprinkle it in their grit. Probably not the best way though.

I brought 21 doves to be released at the cenotaph on November 11, 2018. One cage was released by the veterans the second cage was released by 2 young members in attendance. There was a count down by the crowd to initiate the release. It was very well received.
I plan to do this as long as I am able.

My dad belong to the FSSF this video tells of their contribution to the WWll war effort. All my birds made a safe return that day.
