a) took a dremal grinder to scuff up the slippery surface of the bowl.
b) added more tobacco stem pieces to cover bare center seen in this nest.
The slippery surface is of concern re leg issues. I would like to switch out nest bowls but I'm afraid to disturb these parents who are really doing well so far!![]()
Oh and...'a' is very smart!

When are you going to build your loft,,,,??? I know the viewing must be kicking in some sort of pigeon math inside.![]()
I know it means a lot for you to get some permanent bands,,,,,, Especially your FIRST BORNI'm scrambling to get some bands -I procrastinated figuring out the club social membership thing...

I have a mess of them, of course they are just generic with just Year, & Number. Don't have a sling shot strong enough to make them travel to DeForest. You may check with the Feed Store where you get Pigeon Seeds. In one store here in Chicago where most local fanciers buy their seeds, they do carry bands.
If all fails, then you can still place the snap on bands anytime for your own ID purposes. I used those on other leg for EZ Id. Blue for boys, and pink for girls. Of course ALL mine were like clone white. It made sorting easier. Yours may vary enough to be able to tell who is who.![]()
