So I only bought 20 bands from foys in anticipation for young and told myself I wouldn’t have more than that. Then knowing myself, I’d really like to get a decent team loft flying but foys is sold out so I ordered some off of Amazon just to have year and number for my records. But instead of having an AU band it is a hkpa

That's odd, Are you wanting to compete in young bird races this year?
Anyway, as long as they are seamless life rings they should be fine I think.
I tried googling to find out more but didn't find much. I'm guessing HKPA may stand for Hong Kong Pigeon Association.

Not racing in anything this year due to cost and the new house, just trying to keep updated records for myself as my memory sucks lol. They did come from China so I guess that would make sense. I will be more aware where in order from next time
