Yeah, that's better!:thumbsup
I had a box unchecked that I hadn't noticed before..:rolleyes::lau
I never saw the question :idunno
I’m not sure. I’m still debating genders.

Oops!
I got them moved today into the cage that I first had the others in. Had to put some perches in, since I swiped them for the current setup.

I have more pics, and a couple videos I’ll upload to YT now.
Brb
:wee :celebrate

I’ve been reading all the different colors that these birds come in. I’ll have to research more to see what combos I can mix and match.

They are pretty calm birds.

What are they doing here? Hiding/submitting or trying to mate?

Figuring out who’s the baddest?

And a few new pics

So you have 2 satinette, 4 blondinette and 1 bluette?

They are pretty calm birds.
And very attractive!!

Not sure, doesn't look like mating but maybe they are pairing up or could they be sibs, hanging together for reassurance?

That's what it looks like too me. Who gets first choice of perch? I didn't think they'd be aggressive like my homers! lol, but then they did live with homers didn't they? At least they can't do much damage with those short stubby beaks! lol

And a few new pics

Oh thanks! Those could be siblings, that one does hide under another a lot. I didn’t notice if that was one of the younger ones, I guess it could even be parent/offspring.
And yes, he did have them with some homers! And a few fantails were in the next loft, but he said those belonged to his grandson. Another breed that resembled the Satinettes were on a nest up high, I didn’t hear what he said they were. So he had a few different breeds.

Thanks for a very satisfactory illustrated update!:clap

WV, have you checked inside their mouths to be sure there is no canker? I might consider a course of amprolium to minimize the chance of them bringing in some strain of coccidia foreign to your existing birds.

Oooh, good point. I have not. They are on the opposite side of my building from my current group, maybe 10 feet from a few BCM young chicks, but they are away from everyone else. I’ll try to check them tomorrow. I looked closely at their eyes, their skin, feet, etc but forgot to look inside the mouth.
