Pigeon Talk

Well, my name is Natalie, and I’ve always hated “Nat”. But I do answer to it.

Three of the five are banded, two younger ones are not yet. But I will likely add my snap band, just so I know them apart. He said he ran out of bands not long ago, and didn’t order new ones since he’s been sick and probably will get out of them altogether.

I remember that. That would be cool if it were the same one.

If it traps, then would that maybe indicate that it isn’t fully feral? Maybe belonged to someone at some point?
Maybe. I have noticed that some of my neighbours aren't ringed. Don't know why as he does race them. This one flew off in a hurry in the opposite direction though, with a full crop!

Often times, if it's out of race time they don't band. Because they won't be good for young bird races if its out of season and they will already have their old bird team. I get free unbanded ones from the pres of our club!

Yeah. That makes sense. You can only race young birds from the current year they hatched. So any ftom late last year wouldn't be any good. :(

I'm not certain that you should have divulged that, NAT. :lau

:plbb

The older I get, the less it bothers me. So technically I could like it by now. :old

And my member interview gives my name, so I can’t really hide that now.
