Pigeon Talk

Soo pretty birds WV! I love them! You should have got some whites! Lol.

Ok, I have to ask, is your name nat? Every one keeps saying nat, soo...

@sourland I'm also excited to watch the turner birds. I'll post a video this spring once they're going. I really wish I could have seen your birds fly. I've got one pepperhead hen that I've got my eyes on. It does good circles and rolls 30+ ft. But it can control the roll so well which I like. It with my turner cock may become my foundation. It's the brother of the one in my avy.

Ok, pics as promised. We got home just after dark. I was going to put them in my shop for the night, hubby said might as well bring them inside. What a man! :D

5 birds total. 2 definite cock birds. I’ll have to observe longer to decide on them all. One appears much younger, but they are all from this year.

Well done with them! A great price for them too! They're gorgeous! Are you gonna try and mark them so you know who's who?

Well, my name is Natalie, and I’ve always hated “Nat”. But I do answer to it.

Three of the five are banded, two younger ones are not yet. But I will likely add my snap band, just so I know them apart. He said he ran out of bands not long ago, and didn’t order new ones since he’s been sick and probably will get out of them altogether.

No. There was another that was flying with mine a few months ago. Do you remember the one that was sat under the rabbit area that I tried to catch after dark? It looks the same just a little older!

I remember that. That would be cool if it were the same one.

There was a bit of a kerfuffle when I caught it to release it. It trapped on its own though.

If it traps, then would that maybe indicate that it isn’t fully feral? Maybe belonged to someone at some point?
