Pigeon Talk

Ok, pics as promised. We got home just after dark. I was going to put them in my shop for the night, hubby said might as well bring them inside. What a man! :D

5 birds total. 2 definite cock birds. I’ll have to observe longer to decide on them all. One appears much younger, but they are all from this year.

Gorgeous birds!! I love your flock.:love

Thanks! I’ve got to figure out where to put them all now. How long should I keep them from my birds, Biosecurity-wise?

My husband has a friend that may come and take all of my extra chicken cockerels to butcher, so I think I’ll free up that area fairly soon. :yesss:

It came back! Y'all were right! I went out there and it was sitting on the small side bump out. I opened the trap and it then trapped! After our cat chased it...
Sooo glad he came back! :clap

You are going to want some nest boxes for them. Come spring they will start breeding like crazy, if not sooner. Bigger boxes allow the squeakers time to learn to eat and drink before they get forced out of the box. Are you going to raise some to sell?

@WVduckchick Did you really get them for $10-$15? Since thy're in the house I bet you still can't stop looking at them!

$10 each! :clap
Deal!!
He said he had people emailing him for much further away. Luckily I had emailed first and he held them for me. Such a sweetheart.
