Pigeon Talk

Yay! That's a relief.

And is the chicken inside perminently!?

@Fields Mountain Farm , how many dogs?!

I found the chicken outside almost dead when we had sub-zero temperatures, so I brought him inside and he lived! He was living with some bantam cochin bachelors that didn’t like him, and he always slept by himself, so when it got really cold, he was alone.
Now I can’t put him back in that pen, they might kill him. I don’t know what I’ll end up doing with him! Lol

13
But the big ones are LGD. We are on 5 acres on a mountain with very few neighbors and dirt roads. Our place isnt fenced and they guard the place and my birds. I had dairy goats that free ranged too so needed enough large dogs to protect everything.
They're part of the family now as well..the little dogs are dh's. :idunno

I think its so cool you can utilize LGD s for protection of your stock and property. No fence has brains. lol

I do love my "pack".. they do really well and I never worry about predators bothering my critters. At some point we my have to fence, the area is growing, and we will, but for now it works.. :)

Wow! 15 dogs! Lol.

Update on my fish! All doing good! Don't think any babies have died. Mama is protecting them!
