Okay, I have arranged to buy a blue hen and a silver hen from the breeder in CA But he's old fashioned and doesn't use PayPal, so I have to mail a check.

Hopefully you'll get a good pair of hens now. I remember paying by cheque on ebay, pre PayPal days, took a life for things to arrive!

I still purchase things off Ebay,,, but it has turned to be a Store ,,,, rather than an Auction site.(for the most part) . I pay Paypal,,
If I was selling things thru Ebay, (which I have nothing to sell)
I would insist on check payment sent to me. Or Postal Money order.
Ebay OWNS Paypal,,, and they already get enough KA$H for the listing. Then they want to add another percentage to deliver the KA$H to you.
I am also a REALIST and know they are there to make money. I just don't like parting with it in (high) service fees.
CCUK I know you and others in THE EUROPE are used to being wacked with TAXATION ,,, Since history began. I think our politicians in the USA,, attend workshops in UK to learn creative sneaky ways to slip in NEW TAXES. They are succeeding to a degree.

Is there anything Google doesn't own or has part ownership?! PayPal makes things quicker but yes the fees are crazy. I'm sure UK is the tax capital of the world!

Different peeps have different motives for keeping pigeons. I only desire HOMING PIGEONS. Oppss ,,,, High Flyers also welcomed.
Just like with all other pets,,, there are different ones for different individuals.
Things also chance with time. I used to only like REAL DOGS..(LARGE SIZE)
Now ,,, only thing I want is a SMALL lap dog
