Congratulations WV! I'll be going back to look at the video a few more times. Can't help myself, you birds are so pretty.Well, both squabs have hatched. At least I saw one fully out and the other looked like it was half way out. The egg was in half, but it’s butt was still in the bottom half.
Couldn’t see anything during their swap and it’s cold today, so I didn’t want to bother her too much.
But I did record the hand off, of her taking the nest back.
Sorry it’s a bit wonky, I recorded the iPad screen with my phone.
At the beginning, Trip runs off one of the other birds, then comes back to take her place on the babies. And Rocky flies away. Good daddy.
