Did you look inside his mouth? I lost a 7 week old to canker. How is he moving? The 4 in 1 is a good idea, .... I believe it's given once a day for 5-7 days for best result. One of my young birds is sick! As of yesterday evening they were both doing well but this morning Frodo wouldn't come through the trap with his brother/sister which I eventually figured out was because he had absolutely no interest in eating. I didn't see anything overly concerning like vomiting or poor quality droppings but there's definitely something off. I was unable to entice it to feed so I gave it a 4 in 1 tablet.
Any opinions on what might be going on? When I took the bird out onto to inspect him he was able to move perfectly fine, other than not eating and acting lethargic he seems alright.
I checked briefly but didn't see much. Later when I have an extra set of hands I'm going to shine a flashlight down its throat just to be safe.Did you look inside his mouth? No blood. The 4 in 1 tablets supposedly treat the cocci so if that is what it has then I should be able to fix it.@Qwerty3159 could it possibly be cocci? I think the full name is coccidiosis. Although when mine had it, it was lethargic. Has there been any reddish tint in its droppings? Aka blood.
