Frodo was much more eager to eat this morning and his demeanor has greatly improved.
I'm going to keep treating him but it seems like I nipped whatever he had in the bud.

So the top 'loft' over the porch will be where I add the trap doors. It then will go into a wire holding cage so I can choose which pigeons can fly, and which ones shouldnt. So if some are on eggs, or aren't homeset I will hold them back.View attachment 1806048

That looks like it will make a good loft. A few modifications and it will be great!

No. Its the one that came from Lincoln. The guy came to pick it up and had flown it successfully a number of times since. This morning it was released from Maidstone which is on the south coast. It flew 155 miles to mine! Which is further north than Lincoln! Anyway, I called the guy and he has let me keep it! Its a 2018 hen which is great as I'm low on hens! She is also a pedigree. I offered to pay and he declined. He will send me the transfer and pedigree!

That is so cool! Once a pigeon hen decides, ... best to go with her choice.
