Benn a busy couple of hours after work. I actually started construction! The back is mostly done, new floor down and the side cut then I had to down tools for fear of upsetting the neighbours, else I'd still be at it!

Two notable things happened today.

One of the pigeons tore a hole in the playpen... Which was advertised to contain cats. Its a piece of junk, I've had nothing but problems with its construction and I'm moving both back to olives cage.

And Rosie flew across the house today.

Just found this thread. Gonna follow to keep tabs on lil' Rosie. You're doing a fine job with her. I think it would be awesome if you got her a friend to spend time with although that might make Olive more jealous! The Hispanic man that said he would take her never called back so I guess he didn't really want her at all. So glad we found her a great home. Us chicken folk dont know anything about pigeons

Decided not to add any more intentionally right now and now Olive and Rosie are living together. Not best friends yet but they do not quarrel and Rosie is very happy for her company. If you saw up the thread, she flew about 20 feet today and got about 6 feet up so her wing is much better.

I saw a thing on tv this weekend about a guy that raised pigeons. He had several racing pigeons and was talking about the differemt breeds. I think the only thing I really maintained on it was the fact that I cried out "it looks just like Rosie!!!" Which managed to drag my SO away from his podcasts to watch lol.

She's a lot heavier already and she now keeps her feathers looser as she is not always afraid.
