Hello! I've had pigeons for a few years now and did a few years of 4H with them (hoping to become a 4H leader for my group now that I've aged out) but I was curious if anyone active here knew anything about doves genetics/colours? I am very thankful to have gotten 4 gorgeous ringneck doves for $10 at a show this past week, they're home and totally tame, not fighting and very chill. I love genetics and am super into pigeon genetics to where I can usually guess a birds genetics upon seeing it, but I can't seem to find anything really good on doves, at least nothing very straight forward.

All 4 are slightly different, ones a lighter grey (light pie) and another is a darker grey (light pie too) and theres one light orange, and one very solid orange, all with a black neck ring. I'm going to keep studying photos while they're in quarantine and see if any sites online have any solid genetics to study off of but if anyone has doves and experience I'd love to know
