Had 10 eggs hatch (all 10 hatched yesterday on Easter). Quite shocking how it all happened in one day. Just snapped one pic as the others were all sitting tight. Guess this mother was hungry haha.

I candled my pair's eggs last night to see. As was suggested, one was sterile, probably due to the Baytril. But the other is developing

Great news!
Not to be a downer, just preparing for worst case scenario but do you have any other pigeons that could foster the squab in case the parents don't take care of it properly? I know you've had a ton of issues with that pair.

We had a really bad storm today with some insane winds, lots of trees down in the yard. I had a large branch snap off one of the pines and smash down onto the aviary but it only cracked the corrugated plastic roof slightly and there's no structural damage, and I put wire underneath the roof anyway in case something like that ever happened. I'm going to try to silicone the crack tomorrow.
Once it got dark I put my pair into the shed for the night just in case, but the wind should stop in the middle of the night.

I have 7 pairs breeding. I have more birds, but they aren't breeders yet. Still need to prove themselves first.

What are you breeding for? Better instincts? you don't race, do you?
