WV,,,, your remaining squab is doing good since getting all the nutrition intended for 2. Also being covered over with a parent.
I think the cold was the factor in others end. When I had some hatch during winter in my loft, I placed a heatlamp under the spot where the nest was. It made the nest slightly less cold. I discouraged winter hatching with plastic eggs for that reason.

Yes, I blame the cold, since they seem to be doing fine otherwise. But I had to let them try, so I'm ok with it.

I wish I had put the heat plate in there, instead of with the seramas.
Bought this a few weeks ago. I guess there's no need to bother putting it in there now, huh?

How long from 4 to 26?
And did you add more adults, or let them raise new ones?

If its not to bad there now i wpuldnt worry putting it in. The big thing you should be concerned about now is when the spuab gets to big to sit on but its cold and it doesnt have feathers. But with just one they may be able to sit till feathered.

Its amazing how fast they grow isnt it? They feel like water baloons!

Your 10 day squab is probably growing fur like anything. Besides that, eating like a bandit so generating own body heat well.

I started with 4 rollers. Lost one from it escaping and then bought another. Then i let them raise some for awhile so i was up to 7, bad luck with something taking eggs. Then got some free ones and was up to 18. Then i was like yikes! I need a bigger coop so then we built the breeders coop from pallet wood. So then i got started with 3 white homers, dad and two offspring, all he had. So then i needed to get dif blood so i bought two more whites and i also got 3racers have since got another racer and a pair of ports. So now that i have a mice proof breeders coop im getting enough offspring so i wont need to buy anymore. Except for portueguese tumblers.
