WV,,,, your remaining squab is doing good since getting all the nutrition intended for 2. Also being covered over with a parent.
I think the cold was the factor in others end. When I had some hatch during winter in my loft, I placed a heatlamp under the spot where the nest was. It made the nest slightly less cold. I discouraged winter hatching with plastic eggs for that reason.
Yes, I blame the cold, since they seem to be doing fine otherwise. But I had to let them try, so I'm ok with it.
I wish I had put the heat plate in there, instead of with the seramas.

Bought this a few weeks ago. I guess there's no need to bother putting it in there now, huh?
