I've been eyeballing jacobins lately; I like them and would consider keeping some. I also LOVE the naked neck pigeons but I don't know if they're in the country yet.

Yes emus! I like them so much!

I also have been wanting jacobins. Have you seen them in person? They are cooler in person. Them and portueguese tumblers are the two show breeds im really interested in. I already have ports though!

They're awesome, I love love love my two. You need a lot of space for them, though.

I haven't seen them in person, but I can imagine that they're even prettier than in pictures. At the last chicken show I went to someone did have a pair of pigeons for sale though, can't remember the name of the breed, but I think it was one that originated in the middle east and they had 'roman noses' for lack of a better term.

Just out of curiosity, how much space? They are sooo cute!

Was the breed arabian trumpeter? Or perhaps a tumbler of some sort?

They're awesome, I love love love my two. You need a lot of space for them, though.

I think I found them! I believe it was these:

For emus, you want at least one acre per pair and more is of course better. Some people keep breeding pairs in pens that are 20' by 100' but I don't think I'd want to go that small.

Desi is shy and doesn't let me dress him up. Ciara doesn't care in the slightest
