But but but.. not the RAKE!Like 3 nesting boxes inside the "loft"? As in, instead of the perches? I'm confused about everything but the rake. I understand the rake will have to find a new home![]()
No kidding? I thought it would make a nice roost
How much protection for they need from weather though? I was thinking the back corner might suit better due to the existing walls. Could I leave the back open as is with that partial wall there like so, or would it need a back on it?
That would be cool! But it’s such a pretty rake!
I think the half open back would be fine, you could always cover it from the outside with some plastic or whatever in winter. They would be fine though. For nest boxes, add a couple shelves on one end and put a couple bowls. They will use them wherever you can squeeze them in.
Ooh, oooh, the part of the back that’s open could also be cut thru the wire to make a small area that isn’t covered with solid roof too. (Think of like a window air conditioner unit hanging out the window opening) Like a box they can get out in the full air and sun. Bath bowl could go out there.![]()
Best contribution to this conversation. lol.I think Id move the rake..
But I bet that would work just fine.. Im not one the experts tho..![]()
