Before I came back and read the last couple of pages, I tried again. And I tried to get it on video, so you all can tell me what to do better. I alternated a minute or two each, before I started the video. They were kinda fighting over it, so I can definitely see how one squeaker would end up getting more from the parents.

weren't you just saying you wished your pigeons were tamer? careful what you ask for, 'cause keep this up and you'll have two very tame pigeons!

I re-weighed them just now, they won’t hold still, but they definitely both gained a few grams today, 85-95 grams each.

Oh, yes, that's 28 grams. I'm funny that way... all birds and eggs are weighed in grams.

I use grams too, especially for little birds. More precise.

Well, I've not hand raised any squabs, but if I do, I will weigh them.

I probably should weigh sick birds though, just haven't done it before. Now I need to go find a scale! Lol
