Pigeon Talk

@Pyxis And belatedly(meant to say that the first day they arrived:oops:) ... Your new birds are beautiful!!:love Hope they are well.

They're doing well! The hen slipped out of their cage today (they're in my garage so she wasn't loose, thank goodness) and then went on a walkabout while I walked behind her very slowly trying to get her back in the cage and not inducing her to take off and fly around. And then at one point her boyfriend started thinking about slipping out the door and joining her while I was still trying to herd her back in.

Are they paired? My heart raced when I read the beggining. Glad she was in the garage!

This hen has no signs of illness that I can discern and her poop has been abnormal for many months. It varies from lt brown/beige to various shades of green, this being the greenest. That's a pigeon footprint in the sample. lol Others please feel free to chime in too.:)

Nice! Can you tell all your birds apart?

I'm not sure about the green poop. I wouldn't be concerned if she seems healthy.
